If you are purchasing a hand-fed baby a lot of time has been put into the care and feeding. However, These are not domesticated animals and no guarantee is made as to temperament and/or personality. Babies will quickly lose their tameness if not handled every day when they are young. Normally a bird that has been hand-fed can be re-tamed within just a few hours of dedicated handling time. In many cases re-taming a baby only takes a few minuets. Contact us if you have any questions about how to re-tame your baby if it has lost its tameness. Sometimes babies get scared when first meeting new owners or people. It may take a few days for your baby to get adjusted to its new home.
